Business Leadership Development Program

Amberson High School's Business Leadership Development Program is designed for students aspiring to become business leaders. Students will engage in academic courses to learn core business theories and enhance their understanding through experiential learning, accumulating practical experience. This program aims to enable students to establish a solid foundation in business-focused knowledge and comprehensive skills before entering university.

02. Amberson Co-op Programs

The Amberson Co-op Program is a credit-bearing cooperative internship program in which students participate in a 2-month internship during the final semester of their 12th grade. Upon completion of the program, students will earn 2 credits.

Students will engage in real-world work, including the full process of job selection, interviews, job confirmation, and ultimately participating in and completing the work. During the work period, students will integrate their theoretical knowledge with practical experience through on-site observation and assisting with tasks, thereby enhancing their personal abilities in all aspects and exploring career development paths.

 

Schedule

Last semester of 12th grade, spanning 2 months; 4 days per week, from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Cooperative Education Internship Skill Development Course: Return to school five times a week for work summaries, discussing encountered challenges, brainstorming solutions, and composing weekly internship reports.

03. Leadership Cultivation
  • Run for Student Council Elections: Participate in student council activities, enhance teamwork, organizational skills, and creativity.
  • Engage in Long-Term Community Service: Understand the characteristics of various social groups, especially the needs of vulnerable communities, through extended volunteer activities. Learn the spirit of service and giving back.
  • Participate in Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program and TED Ed Student Talks to improve professional accomplishments in leadership, public speaking skills, organizational and time managerial capabilities.

Admission Requirements
  • Completion of 10th grade
  • Average grade not lower than 80%
  • Intending to apply for a business-related major in university
  • Language: Students achieving ESLDO in the entrance test (approximately IELTS 5)

 

Program Fees:No additional program fees, excluding any third-party fees required for competition registration or certificate exams.
